Women of the Gallatin Valley,
Welcome to the 2012 Spring Women’s Ecumenical Bible Study of ACTS—
The mission of WEBS (Women’s Ecumenical Bible Study) is to build connection; as we explore God’s story, we share our stories. WEBS offers Seekers and Christians, who enjoy the perspectives of other women, a safe, engaging environment to nurture their faith through Bible Study and in relationship. WEBS provides both a spiritual and scholarly environment in which each woman can live her own spiritual journey in community.
WEBS Organization: The word ‘ecumenical’ means promoting the unity of and friendly relations between different Christian traditions. Bozeman United Methodist Church, Hope Lutheran Church, First Presbyterian Church and St. James Episcopal Church host and/or provide leadership for WEBS on a rotating basis.
Childcare and Children’s Ministry: Childcare is free, and each member of the childcare team has had background checks and has completed the training program “Safe Guarding God’s Children.” Pre-school age children have their own Children’s Bible Study, a Christian formation curriculum, which is part of the childcare program.
When we meet: Mondays, 10:00-11:45 am with refreshments served at 9:45 at January 16th – March 26th
Where: First Presbyterian Church, corner of Willson and Babcock
Who: offered by WEBS, a diverse group of women in respectful relationship with one another, who are interested in nurturing faith through Bible Study, friendship, and prayer.
