SWEET PEA PARADE FLOAT/VOLUNTEER

Annual music/art Festival in Bozeman, august 6-8, 2010.  Hope Lutheran creates a float each year.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS MONTANA


Bozeman hosts the summer games in 2010 and 2011.  Hope Lutheran is hosting a Dine Out for 240 Special Olympians, families and coaches on May 13.  We anticipate hosting Dine Out in 2011 as well.

HOPE LUTHERAN CHURCH IS AVAILABLE FOR MANY GROUPS TO USE FOR MEETINGS, CONFERENCES, SPORTS PRACTICES, ETC.

Hope Lutheran Church has an Activity Room that seats up to 250 people with a commercial grade kitchen. 

Soccer, volleyball and basketball teams practice in this space.

Our sanctuary seats 400 plus an addition 150 when we open up into the Gathering Space.  The sanctuary is an acoustically beautiful space for choral, orchestral or any live music.

Would you like to be a part of this exciting ministry? This is a group of people who make a personal contact with worship guests, druing the week in which they worship. Greeting Team

What's involved in being a greeter? See below and contact Darlene Hanson, 587-1178 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to get involved!

• Arrive 15 minutes before worship begins
• Wear a Greeter Badge located in a basket located on the front desk of our office
• If possible, and weather permitting, greet people outdoors
• Extend your hand to shake hands with both adults and children (bending down to their eye level)
• Bring your entire family, including kids, and you can all greet those who come to worship
• If people are struggling to walk, get out of the car, offer to assist them. Also offer to hold the door, since we don't yet have handicap assist installed
• Offer a word of welcome with a smile

If you meet someone whom you've never met before, make note of their name and remember it so that during fellowship after worship you can initiate further conversation with our guests.

We will send out a schedule for greeting once a quarter (every three months.) If the date doesn't work for you, please contact another greeter and swith with them.
