The LWR Truck was full and overflowing!

“For it is by GRACE you have been saved, through faith – and this not of yourselves, it is the GIFT OF GOD – not by works, so that no one can boast.  For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Ephesians 2:8-10.

And so it is done – our good works are accomplished – at least for another year!  Thanks to one and all for making this year of quilting and collecting resource materials a success.  A special thanks goes out to Bob & Bernice Stulc of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Belgrade for annual pick-up & trucking of LWR materials to Billings.

Tally for the year: 1506 pounds donated including:

273 Quilts, 19 Sewing Kits, 136 Layettes, 50 Health Kits, and 156 School Kits.

Lastly, Interfaith Quilters say THANK YOU for your generous Quilt Offering of $1140.25!  We work solely from your donations and receive NO FUNDS from Hope Lutheran Church for this outreach mission.

Interfaith Quilters are once again taking donations of fabric, sheets, pillowcases, thread, yarn, etc.

Countries receiving LWR Resource Materials: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Burkina Faso, Djibouti, Georgia, Guatemala, Jordan, Laos, Mauritania, Nepal, Nicaragua, Niger, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Pakistan, Philippines, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Thailand, Ukraine, And Uzbekistan.

Hope Quilters becomes Interfaith Quilters in 2009: During In years past, Hope Quilters committed to ‘Expand Our Mission’ at our new location, by inviting other faith based partners from the Gallatin Valley to join in our mission work.  People from other religious communities in Bozeman responded to the invitation so we are now the INTERFAITH QUILTERS! We continue to work to grow and ‘Expand our Mission’ in the Gallatin Valley and, in turn, grow our collective contributions to those around the world who are in need.
