Welcome to hope lutheran church

At Hope Lutheran we share God’s unconditional love as we commit to

being a welcoming place of compassion, safety, and racial equity where

all members of our diverse community can worship and become

involved. We celebrate and affirm persons of every gender identity,

gender expression, sexual orientation, culture, race, political leanings,

body type, marital status, education, and physical and mental ability.

Whether your faith in God is strong, wavering, curious, or non-existent

we seek joy, appreciation, and companionship in one another’s

presence. Together we gather in communion with God, striving to grow

in our faith so that we may go out and live God’s love in the world.

A message from pastor heidi

Hope Lutheran is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and has been a part of the Bozeman community for over 100 years.  Here at Hope, we strive to connect our faith in God with the life we lead here in the Gallatin Valley and beyond.  Inside these walls we gather to share, learn, and grow in our faith so that we are equipped to go out into the community to serve our neighbor in Jesus’ name.   Come and join us as we connect to one another through the avenues of worship, bible studies, small groups, music, youth group, Fork and Spoon, Mobile Soup Kitchen, and many other ministries.   There is a place at Hope Lutheran for you!

Opportunities to serve

The strength of any community or organization lies in the ability and willingness of its

members to serve the greater good of the community. This is ultimately more important

than financial contributions because financial contributions will flow out of the

members’ desire to give of their time and abilities. A church is maybe the epitome of

this truism because Jesus as the pioneer and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), was

the ultimate servant, to the point of death on a cross.

We encourage you, our members and friends to look periodically

at this section and see where you can help out. We are stronger when you role up your

sleeves. Click below for our current opportunities.

  • Volunteers are needed for projection and camera operations

for Sunday services. These are critical positions since the effectiveness

of the worship service both in the sanctuary and live on our YouTube

channel depends on the consistency of this function. Training will be

provided. Contact Dick Deschamps at dick@hopebozeman.com for

    more information.
